Dual Enrollment Program Services

Overview

The Dual Enrollment program is a cooperative venture between UNO and metropolitan area high schools. In selected schools, students in Advanced Placement classes may choose to receive college credit by registering at UNO and paying a fee. High school Dual Enrollment faculty members are considered to be UNO adjunct faculty and will have regular faculty privileges at the library.

Library Accounts and Resource Access

A library account is automatically created for students and faculty based upon their active status.

Students and faculty will be provided their NU ID number from the Registrar's office by mail. If a student or faculty member loses their NU ID number, they must contact the Registrar's office in person with a valid ID to be able to get a replacement. The library cannot provide students or faculty with the NU ID number.

Materials Checkout and Resource Access Information

Dual-enrollment students and faculty are not issued university identification cards, and therefore must visit the Main Service Desk to obtain a “red” library card in order to check out materials.

Dual enrollment students may check out up to 50 items.
